When visiting Angkor, I was astonished both by persistence of the architecture and by the inevitability of nature’s triumph over man-made structures. In this gallery you will find many photos showing beautiful, ornamental details of the Angkor temples. However, my main focus was to show the struggle to preserve what’s left of the ruins, and to show contrast between old and new, nature and art, life and decay.
